Colin de Souza
My career with P&O Nedlloyd started from 1996 in Hong Kong where I was Trade Manager for the Asia-Middle East Trades. In 1998 I moved to West Africa as Country Manager for Benin & Togo and from 2000-2004 I was Regional Sales Manager for West Africa based in Cote D'Ivoire (Ivory Coast). My next move was to London in 2005 when I took up the position of General Manager African Trades.
I transferred to MOL in early 2006 when some of P&O Nedlloyd's trades were purchased by the Japanese company at the time of the takeover by Maersk. I relocated to Rotterdam, first as MOL's Vice President for North South Trades and then as Senior Vice President European Trades. My next move was to Singapore in 2015 as Regional Director ASEAN South and Oceania Regions.
When the container shipping interests for K Line, MOL and NYK were merged with the formation of Ocean Network Express (ONE), I was initially Regional Head for South Asia based in Singapore from April 2018. In April this year (2024) I took up the position of Regional Head for ONE Latin America based in São Paulo (Brazil).
