Tony Ellis

Dear SCARA Member,

Sad news of the death of Tony Ellis has been received from Eddie Wipperman. Tony was not a SCARA member but would have been well known to to many of our members.

Tony Ellis passed away on 8 March 2021 following a very short illness. The funeral will take place at Upminster Cemetery on Monday 12 April.

Tony joined the OCL container revolution from parent company Glen Line/Blue Funnel in the early 70's as Cargo Manager based at Barking and later transferred to Containerbase (Barking) Ltd as Operations Manager. Tony retired in the late 90's/early 00's.
