Further to SCARA message of 26 March (see below) we now have details for Tony's funeral:
24 April at 14:30. Pitsea Crematorium, Bowers Gifford, SS13 2HG and afterwards at Orsett Hall.
The family welcomes friends/colleagues at the funeral and at the Hall afterwards. Would anyone planning to attend please contact Todd Moore who will keep the family informed of numbers.

Our thanks to Mal Hurdidge for passing on the sad news of the passing of SCARA member Tony Coughlin. Tony was General Sales Manager for UK/Eire for Nedlloyd Lines at the time of the merger and formation of P&O Nedlloyd in 1997. He became a key member of the UK Sales team based in the Hainault office. At the time of the takeover in 2005 Tony again held the position of General Sales Manager for the UK/Eire, and with his move across to Maersk he took up a senior position in their UK global freight forwarding operation. Tony then worked in UK sales with APL from 2013-2020. In recent years he held the position of chair for his local Conservative association, and had been involved in local politics in the Grays and Thurrock area.
Tony has been a regular attendee at the annual SCARA lunches in London, and was at last year's event. Like others whose company we will miss at our SCARA events, he will be remembered when we meet up again in November this year.
Our deepest sympathies go to Tony's family and friends.
