Nick Carter

We have received the sad news that yet another former colleague, Nick Carter has passed away.

Nick's last position at P&O Nedlloyd was in Sales Services in Hainault but for many years he had been Marketing Manager in the UK African Trades sales/marketing team. Nick left P&O Nedlloyd in April 2006 and was working with ex-PONL African Trades General Manager Richard Mellor in the UK office of MACS Shipping in Brentwood.

Nick was struck down with a serious illness in late 2006 but in typical fashion had soldiered on despite never regaining full fitness. Shortly before his death he had had a routine operation but on Tuesday of last week was readmitted following complications.
