Mick Helsby

Very sadly Coral Helsby has notified us that her husband, Michael John Helsby (Mick), died on 30th October 2024.

Friends and colleagues Fiona and Trevor Ruxton told us, "Mick began with OCL Barking working in Insurance & Claims alongside Jack Wright before making the move into Imports.  Despite being of a more serious temperament he quickly slotted into the lively fun loving import department where he worked for several years.  Later, looking for a new challenge, he moved to Containerbase Barking working with Tony Ellis & Eddie Wipperman.  Mick was a much loved & respected colleague who will be sadly missed."

Mick's wishes were for a direct cremation which has already taken place.

We offer our sincere condolences to Coral and all the family.
