SCARA North West Reunion Liverpool 13/06/2024

A reunion gathering has been organised in Liverpool on Thursday 13 June 2024 for SCARA members and other former shore and sea staff from OCL, P&O Containers, Nedlloyd Lines, P&O Nedlloyd and other associated companies.

The venue is Thomas Rigby’s (23-25 Dale St, Liverpool L2 2EZ) which is conveniently close to the city centre and Liverpool Lime Street station.  We expect to have a private area.

The gathering will start at 1230 and will run for as long as there are people present!  It’s an informal ‘do’ with everyone welcome to arrive and leave at times that suit them.  As a result, food isn’t being organised centrally but the pub does offer a reasonably-priced menu for those who want to eat.

The last SCARA event in the North West took place at the same venue in 2021 and was well attended, so we are hoping for a good turn-out this time round too.  With that in mind, thanks go to Steve Tite and Chris Evans who are facilitating the event by making sure that those who aren’t on our SCARA mailing list are aware.  If you know anyone who you think might want to attend then please do pass on this note.
