Jean Sneath

We have received the following sad news from Rosemarie Cast and Joan Lobendhan:

It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of the passing of our dear friend Jean Sneath on 15 Sept.2015 (in Spain) after a long illness. Jean joined OCL in 1974 which later became P&O, P&OCL and P&O Nedlloyd. She retired in 1998 and went to live in Spain in 2001.

Jean worked in the Finance Department as a Senior Data Input Operator. Jean was liked by everyone who knew her. She was funny and headstrong and a good friend when you needed one. Jean went on lots of cruises and used to organise Country & Western dances which we used to go to.

Jean went to live in Spain as she hated the cold and seemed very happy there. Losing her brother was a great blow. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Her family hope to have a service for Jean in the UK at a later date.
