We had our third Essex SCARA event in Stanford-Le-Hope on 15th April and it was another great success, with even more attendees. Jackie Honour and Paul Nixon arranged the lunch, which was in an Italian restaurant this time. The food and portions at ‘Santino’ were excellent, as were the staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Well done to Jackie and Paul for finding the restaurant.
In all 37 former colleagues attended and if the noise was anything to go by everyone seemed to enjoy themselves catching up with old friends and reminiscing. David made a short speech welcoming everyone and pointing out how special he thought SCARA was, that after 20 years former employees still want to meet up and socialise.
A big ‘thank you’ to Jackie and Paul for all their hard work and thanks to everyone that attended. We hope to see you all next year.
