Captain Michael Penny and Caroline Cobby

We are sorry to advise that SCARA member Capt Michael Penney died on 2nd December 2016.

We are also very sorry to advise that SCARA member Caroline Cobby died in July.  Unfortunately it was October before this news reached us.

Note: When Container Fleets Ltd. was established in 1968/69 to manage the OCL ships in the Australia trade. Captain Michael Penney OBE RD RNR was made General Manager.  Captain Penney is shown in the picture below which is from from British Box Business - A History of OCL, edited by Alan Bott, and he contributed to that publication (see pages 255-256).
