Barry Diggle

Dear SCARA Member,

We have received this sad news from Keith Axton.

Barry Diggle died on the 11th October at the age of 87 after a short illness. His funeral has been announced in Lichfield Mercury Newspaper.

He was a Master Mariner, FICS, Managing Director of the B'irmingham Containerbase and he was also ex-Mayor and Sheriff of Lichfield.

The funeral service will be held at Lichfield Cathedral on the 31st October (Tue) at 2.0 pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired payable to R.N.L.I. through F M & J Watt Funeral Directors, 25 Bird Street, Lichfield, WS13 6PW. .
