PONLHeritage on Flickr

Flickr, the global photo sharing site has photos covering just about every subject on the sun, including ships and shipping. Put "P&O Nedlloyd" into the search and a range of photos come up of PONL ships, containers, offices, people and memorabilia.
Flick uses groups to allow people to share their photographs with people interested in a similar subject. It therefore seemed to make sense to create a group specifically for PONLHeritage:
http://www.flickr.com/groups/ponlheritage/
Invites have gone out to photographers who have already posted P&O Nedlloyd-related photographs to the website, and after only 48 hours a number have already linked their photos to our group. Please do take a few minutes to click on the link above to view the photographs that have been posted there.
Now it's your turn... Have you taken photographs of P&O Nedlloyd and its predecessor companies (P&O Containers, Nedlloyd Lines, etc):
Ships?
Containers or shoreside equipment?
Offices?
Events?
People?
Memorabilia?
If the answer is 'yes' and you are already a Flickr member then please do consider posting these photographs to that site and then link them to the PONLHeritage group. If you are unsure how to do this then the link below will take you to the help area for Flickr groups:

If you've got photographs but aren't yet a Flickr member then please do consider signing up. It's free, and Flickr has a really good step-by-step guide on what to do to get your photographs online and shared. Just click on the link below:
If you haven't got any photographs from the past to share then you can still add to the PONLHeritage group. There are still plenty of P&O Nedlloyd containers rattling around the world on ships, trains and trucks. If you see an ex-PONL ship and have your camera with you, take a picture, post it on Flickr and then add them to the PONLHeritage group. We are also really interested to see photographs of reunion events appear here, so if you and ex-colleagues meet up then please do take a picture to share. Don't forget to add as much detail in the notes area as you can as this will make your picture even more interesting for the people who see it.
Happy snapping :-)
