The Wellington Trust Zoom lecture on the P&O Heritage Collection

The Wellington Trust, the charity which looks after HQS Wellington which is moored on the banks of the River Thames and is the last remaining Second World War convoy escort ship, has been in touch regarding an online talk that they are hosting on 14 March 2022. This is one of their regular monthly on;ine lectures and is free to access, but donations towards the upkeep of HQS Wellington would be very much appreciated.

The talk, titled "P&O - The Pride and Privilege of Preserving ‘A Great Past’" is by Susie Cox who is the Senior Curator for the P&O Heritage Collection.

Anyone interested in booking their place should go to the HQS website using the link immediately below:

('Men of Ships' is one of the films made available by the P&O Heritage Collection on YouTube. It was originally intended as a recruitment film for P&O Officers and is about a journey on P&O's passenger ship the Chusan in 1957).
