The UK's Daily Telegraph newspaper has published an article about a transaltantic voyage on the Maersk Pembroke, formerly the P&O Nedlloyd Sydney:
Horatio Clare, the author of the article, has written "Down to the sea in ships: Of Ageless Oceans and Modern Men" about two voyages on container ships, Antwerp to Montreal (the subject of the above newspaper article) and Felixstowe to Los Angeles via Suez..
The P&O Nedlloyd Sydney was completed by the German Kvaerner Warnow-Werft yard in 1998 and has a capacity of 2902 TEU (containership-info.com and maerskline.com). The photo (right) is of her sister-ship the Maersk Penang - MaerskLine.Com.
