Catherine Alpin

We have received the sad news about the recent passing of Catherine Alpin (née Devlin). Catherine had been based in the company offices in Southampton and then Hainault, working in Sales and e-Commerce support.

Our thanks go to John McParland who has just highlighted this sad news in a Facebook post. John has kindly given us permission to repeat his words along with some of the photographs that he shared on the P&O Nedlloyd Friends Facebook page:

"I found out on this page last month that Catherine Alpin had passed away. In the early 1990s she was Catherine Devlin when we worked together in Export Sales in Southampton - first at the Nursling Trailer Park and then at Richmond House. Catherine was smart, funny, sassy and always spoke her mind. She was a joy to work with. We had a great group and she was always right there in the middle of the action. These are some photos from those days.

We met up with Catherine in 2015 when my wife and I were in the UK and went down to Hampshire to see old friends. Catherine was lovely as ever, she and Dom were so happy and very proud of their son Finley.
