Maersk Line, the company which took over P&O Nedlloyd in 2005/06, is planning to introduce 20 x 18,000 TEU container vessels.  The "Triple E" ships will be around 6.5 times the size of the OCL Liverpool Bay class vessels which were on the Europe-Far East (TRIO) trade in the 1970-80s.
